Canaries are small birds that usually measure about 13 cm long. Although the original wild canaries are rather dull colors, the domestic canaries that we can find today are bright colors. The plumage colors we can see are white, yellow, orange, copper, etc. The red canary was the first canary created genetically.

In the wild, the canary inhabits different types of habitat, from forests to deserts, although the most common are semi-covered areas such as groves and gardens created by humans.

The canary is famous for his singing. It emits sounds keeping the beak closed and swelling the throat
