Since dwarf breeding hens can have broiler-type chickens of normal size, recessive dwarfism linked to sex has found application in the poultry industry since the last decades of the 20th century.
They are not prolific or laying eggs or meat. However they remain cluecas very frequently, reason why they are able to take several nests every year, they are vigorous and of lively temperament.
They have fallen wings, typical of races with great capacity for flight. The feathers are usually wide, copious and tight. They have great ornamental value, due to their manageability and use of small spaces such as patios or small gardens.
